Breakdancing is so often seen in a bad way, thus becoming tired of existing almost. Luckily David Olkarny changed the perspective on breakdancing. With the help of Raphael Beyaert and Rafael Deprost they made this video called “Gravityless” in which the B-boy Karimbo offers an impressive performance.
This creation called “Os pixadores” follows a group of activists and Brazilian graffiti on the rooftops of São Paulo, explaining their philosophy. An amazing and intriguing piece of video art capturing the true lifes of these young street artists.
It’s not something we haven’t seen before, but this four-episode series written by Ronan Bennett, which tackled issues including drugs, crime and gang culture in the deprived area of Hackney is definitely rose far above that cliched urban drama we all know. Directed by Yann Demange, this serie is definitely one to watch or download via the well-known channels.

British director and filmmaker Luke Monaghan, who could also be found behind the camera for the video for “Purple Kisses”, releases a ten minute documentary on the rise of A$AP Rocky and the craziness around it. By combining interview footage with live performance footage and street footage, Monaghan creates a feeling that really has you clinged to your screen for ten minutes.
