This magnificent installation by Christo gives his audience a spectaculair view on light. The Big Air Package is constructed of mixed fabric and circular ropes. It’s 90 meters long and 50 meters wide, which makes this heavenly white dome the largest, indoor air-sculpture ever built. The light material and mixed layars create a diffuse light throughout the interior which creates a unique experience. On view from March 16 to December 30 in the Gasometer Oberhausen, Germany.
Belgian artist Filip Dujardin is also an architectural photographer by profession and extends his fascination with the artform through his fictional building series. German artist Katrin Korfmann is presenting her latest photographic work ‘Kolorit’ at Kai Hilgemann gallery in Berlin. Korfmann documents the hindu ritual known as the ‘holi’ festival. The event is a celebration of color and the welcoming of the new spring season, the iconic tradition sees thousands of people catapult pigmented powder and perfume at one another.
